Hebamio review 2024

As 2024 draws to a close, it's time to take a look back. We have experienced a lot in the last few months. Together with you, we have not only achieved technical milestones, but also mastered exciting developments and challenges that make the work of midwives easier and richer every day.

In this review, we would like to share the highlights of the year with you - it's not just about software updates and new functions, but above all about what unites us all: the passion to support women and families in such a special phase of life.

Congresses

We had the wonderful opportunity to be personally present at 13 congresses this year and to support many other events with our brochures and bags. A very special thank you goes to our midwives Rebekka, Janette, Birgit, Nicole and Christiane - without you, the many participations in the trade exhibitions would not have been possible.

Each congress had its own charm, but what really impressed us time and again was the warm atmosphere that prevailed everywhere. The discussions with you were enriching for us every time, and we were incredibly pleased with every piece of feedback. It is this closeness and shared commitment that drives us and motivates us to come back next year to share ideas with you.

A very personal highlight for us was the Hebakon in Bad Vilbel in May. As the main sponsor, we were able to play an active role in the planning of this great congress and were delighted that the event was a complete success. We will remember the atmosphere and the encounters there for a long time to come. And, of course, we are already looking forward to next year's Hebakon in Bad Sassendorf - we can hardly wait to see you there again!

Training courses

Another highlight this year was our intensive training program: We held a total of 62 training sessions, hosted the Hebamio Café 39 times, organized 10 practice training sessions and offered many one-on-one introduction sessions for newly interested practices and teams. A big thank you to our entire training team for your boundless commitment and the tireless support you offer our users! Our team has also undergone further training this year and attended courses to provide you with even better support.

This year we have also introduced our new academy. Here we offer numerous training courses live or on demand and provide handouts and templates that can be accessed at any time - a valuable addition for anyone who wants to train flexibly and according to their own needs.

Lectures at schools and universities are also particularly important to us. This year, we were able to give some valuable talks - on the topic of "Starting out as a freelancer" and "Digital midwifery". These events are a matter close to our hearts, as they give us the opportunity to accompany prospective midwives on their journey and actively help shape the digital future of midwifery.

New design

2024 was not only a year full of encounters for us, but also a year of change - and not just on the outside! Hebamio has been given a fresh coat of paint in many areas. Our new website shines in new splendour, and we have also optimized the design of the program itself to make it even more pleasant for you to use.

This year, we have also been working intensively on our marketing and our social media presence. In countless brainstorming sessions on our office sofa, we developed lots of creative ideas and shared them with you. We particularly enjoyed the Advent calendar on Instagram - have you already taken part in our competitions? 😉

We are grateful for the positive response and look forward to sharing even more exciting content and activities with you in the coming year!

Technical innovations

But the changes go far beyond the exterior: we have also made a lot of changes inside Hebamio. To make your workflows even faster and more efficient, we have upgraded our hardware in the data center and made numerous program optimizations. All these innovations will help you to integrate Hebamio even more smoothly into your everyday work - and we would be delighted if you appreciate the improvements as much as we do.

Paperless billing

2024 was also an important year for us in technical terms. A very special milestone was the further increase in the number of participating health insurance funds for paperless billing. Thanks to your active use of eLB (electronic service provision), more and more health insurers were persuaded to join this pilot project. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you very much - without your dedicated participation and support, this progress would not have been possible. You have not only driven digitalization forward, but also made an important contribution to simplifying and increasing the efficiency of billing. Together, we have taken a big step towards a paperless future!

Outlook for the year 2025

The year 2024 was a journey full of further developments and valuable experiences for us (we could continue our list of innovations here forever) - and we are proud to have traveled this path together with you. With the handwritten documentation, the many new features directly in the program and the successful integration of many practical and useful tools, we have reached important milestones that will make your work even more efficient and flexible. But we are not resting on our laurels: In the coming year, we will continue to work with a lot of passion and commitment to keep improving Hebamio. We are excited about everything that lies ahead of us and look forward to growing together with you again next year.

Our motto of mindfulness and support will also accompany us into 2025.
